About Monmouth

A market town where the Monnow meets the Wye, on the English border. As the most easterly town in Wales, Monmouth sees the sunrise before anywhere else in the country.

Like everywhere else in Wales, Monmouth keeps Greenwich Mean Time from late October to late March and British Summer Time for the rest of the year. There is no local time variation anywhere in the country, but daylight is a different matter.
