About Caernarfon
A walled town on the Menai Strait dominated by Edward I’s castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Caernarfon has one of the highest proportions of Welsh speakers of any town in Wales.
Like everywhere else in Wales, Caernarfon keeps Greenwich Mean Time from late October to late March and British Summer Time for the rest of the year.
