Using this site

Time.wales is provided free of charge for personal and commercial reference. You may use the times and conversions it produces however you like. You may not attempt to disrupt the service or use automated tools in a way that degrades it for others.

Accuracy

Times are calculated in your browser from your device’s system clock using the IANA time zone database. Two consequences follow. First, if your device clock is wrong, every time shown here will be wrong by the same amount. Second, time zone rules are set by governments and sometimes change at very short notice; the database is updated regularly but cannot anticipate an announcement that has not yet been made.

Sunrise and sunset figures are calculated astronomically for each location’s coordinates and are typically accurate to within a few minutes, and less precise at high latitudes. They do not account for altitude, local terrain or unusual atmospheric conditions.

Event dates that follow lunar or announced calendars are clearly marked on the site as requiring confirmation. Please verify them against an official source before relying on them.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. While we take accuracy seriously and correct errors promptly when they are reported, we cannot accept liability for losses arising from reliance on the information here, a missed flight, a missed meeting or anything else. For decisions with material consequences, confirm the time with the relevant operator or authority.
